Flower delivery in Žleby from a local florist
Žleby lies in the Doubrava valley. The village is about 18 km south-east of Kutná Hora and 7 km east of Čáslav. In 2025, it had approximately 1,429 residents.
The first written record of Žleby dates from 1278. Žleby Castle is managed by the National Heritage Institute and is open to the public, with tour routes available. In the 19th century, Vincenc Karel Auersperg remodelled the castle in the English Neo-Gothic style, and an English park lies by the castle. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary originally dates from 1540 and was rebuilt in 1714 and 1775.
Petronila brings flowers to Žleby. A bouquet can be handed to the recipient wherever they happen to be. This may be at home, at work, at the primary school or nursery school, at the municipal office, or at the paediatrician's practice.
