Flower Delivery to Žehuň from a Local Florist

Žehuň lies about 15 km north-east of Kolín, on the south-western shore of the local pond. The pond was established between 1492 and 1497 as a royal pond on the Cidlina. At 258 ha, it is the largest pond in the Central Bohemian Region.

The first mention of Žehuň dates from 1137. The late Baroque Church of St Gothard was built between 1753 and 1762. The ossuary beside the cemetery wall is the work of František Kermer and dates from 1765–1766. The Václavík Mill, rebuilt to its present form in 1857, and the neighbouring Art Nouveau Václavík Villa from 1910 are cultural monuments.

The Neo-Renaissance school building, opened in September 1909, is listed as a cultural monument. The primary school and kindergarten in Žehuň together form a small-class school. The school and kindergarten are housed in two buildings about 200 metres apart.

Petronila also delivers flowers to Žehuň. A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at home, at the school or at the kindergarten. A handover at the municipal office is also possible.
