Flower delivery to Velký Osek

Velký Osek lies about 9 km north of Kolín by the Elbe. It is a railway junction. Here, a line to Choceň branches off from the Prague–Kolín line.

The Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus was built in 1934. A sandstone sculpture group of Calvary dating from 1761 stands in front of it. Near the municipality lies the Libický luh National Nature Reserve, which contains the largest floodplain forest in Czechia. A mineral spring rises on Husovo náměstí; it is a lightly mineralised spring with acidulous water, drilled in 1935.
