Flower delivery to Veletov from Kutná Hora

The municipality of Veletov lies on the bank of the Elbe, about 8 km east of Kolín. The first written mention of the municipality dates to 1306.

The Neo-Gothic Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary was designed by Jan Krch and consecrated in July 1897 on the site of an older church. The Veletovský mlýn farmstead is one of the local landmarks. The Veletov weir complex on the Elbe comprises a weir, a navigation lock completed in 1975 and a small hydroelectric plant. Povodí Labe manages these facilities.
