Flower delivery in Pňov-Předhradí

Pňov-Předhradí lies on the left bank of the Elbe. It is about 9 km north-west of Kolín. Written records first mention Pňov in 1265.

The late Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, dating from 1773 to 1778, stands between Pňov and Předhradí, with a cemetery adjoining it. The Předhradí part of the municipality has an evangelical church and an evangelical cemetery. Pňovský luh, Libický luh and Veltrubský luh together form the largest and best-preserved complex of floodplain forests in Bohemia. Part of the Velim railway test circuit, opened in 1963, lies in the cadastral area of Klipce, a part of Pňov-Předhradí.
