Konárovice lies about 7 km east of Kolín. Around 970 people lived here in 2025.

The first written record of the village dates to 1352. The parish Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Konárovice has Gothic origins and was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style in 1887–1889. Countess Alžběta Quasco had Konárovice Chateau rebuilt in the Rococo style in 1775. Today, the chateau is privately owned and not open to the public.
