Flower delivery from Kutná Hora to Kobylnice

Kobylnice lies by the Doubrava River, about 11 km north-east of Kutná Hora. Road I/2 passes through the village. The first written mention of Kobylnice dates to 1306.

In 1278, the Sedlec Monastery bought the manor and village of Kobylnice from the royal chamber and owned both until 1421. The former village school was built in 1911–1912 to a design by builder Čeněk Dajbych from Kutná Hora and has been a protected cultural monument since 2019. Today, the municipal office and kindergarten are housed in the former school building. The village also has a statue of St John of Nepomuk and a road bridge over the Doubrava.
